Yes — Texas NPs can prescribe testosterone when it is delegated under a prescriptive authority agreement and controlled-substance requirements are met, including DEA registration when prescribing controlled substances.12

For Schedule III-V prescribing, Texas rules include a 90-day supply/refill limit and require physician consultation for refills beyond the initial 90-day supply.1
