How often does a collaborative agreement need to be reviewed in Texas?

A collaborative prescriptive authority agreement must be reviewed at least annually in Texas. The agreement and any amendments must be dated and signed by both parties and, upon request by the Texas Medical Board or Texas Board of Nursing, made available no later than the third business day after the request1.

Separate from the annual review, the physician and APRN must meet at least once a month to discuss patient care and related issues, with each meeting should be documented1.
