Wendy has been practicing family medicine for over 25 years with an expertise in integrative psychiatry, functional medicine, women's health/ BHRT, weight loss, primary and urgent care of all ages. I love to collaborate with APCs and have been for > 10 years. I enjoy mentoring/teaching (if desired) and learning / brain storming with APCs especially about root causes and holistic, cutting edge, and evidence based approaches. I work 4 days a week at a virtual, functional medicine practice and invest 1 day for collaborations. I am free late afternoons and evenings, too. I would like to ensure that accessible and affordable health care is available to patients and believe in the mission of APCs to offer such care.

My emergency medicine residency was in Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL and I've been practicing emergency medicine for the last 17 years in the metropolitan Atlanta area. My primary hospital is one of the busiest ED's in the country. I've been training medical residents for the last 8 years.

Hello! I am a board-certified family medicine physician with over 12 years of clinical experience in primary care, hospital medicine, and academic teaching. Currently, I split time between Montana and North Carolina, working with a remote telehealth HRT/weight loss/longevity practice in Montana and working as a hospitalist roughly 1 week every 4 - 6 weeks back in North Carolina. I enjoy working with PAs and NPs to help support their clinical practice as they pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. My wife is a PA, so I understand the importance of having a strong relationship with a supportive medical director and collaborating physician. I strive to provide reliable, accessible supervision for both telemedicine and in-person settings. I'm licensed in multiple states and have experience across diverse care models, and I'm committed to supporting your practice so you can focus on exceptional patient care. I, Dr. Emily Farias, MD am a board-certified family medicine physician with broad experience in preventive care, chronic disease management, mental health, and women’s health. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her residency at Loma Linda University. I have experience across varied clinical settings—including primary care, home visits, assisted living facilities, and the Veterans Administration—managing complex cases while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. I am passionate about delivering holistic care, evidence-based medicine, and tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs. I have a strong interest in leadership and mentorship, frequently collaborating with mid-level providers (formal and informal settings), medical students, and residents.

Trained at Yale University in Internal Medicine Military Medicine Army Training 20+ years of service I am a seasoned physician with comprehensive experience across internal medicine, hospitalist care, primary care, urgent care, and geriatrics. My training and clinical practice have equipped me with a broad skill set to manage complex, multi-system diseases and acute medical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a hospitalist, I have consistently delivered high-quality, evidence-based care to acutely ill patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal outcomes. In the primary care, geriatrics, and urgent care settings, I have demonstrated a commitment to patient-centered care, effectively managing chronic conditions, preventive screenings, and a wide range of acute presentations. As the Center Medical Director, I oversee the clinical operations and performance of a multidisciplinary team of five physicians, serving a diverse patient population of over 2,000 individuals.

Dr. Gater grew up in the suburbs outside of Detroit, Michigan. She received both her undergraduate degree and a medical doctorate from the University of Michigan and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.Being a steadfast advocate for health and wellness prompted Dr. Gater to seek additional training in Integrative Medicine. Integrative Medicine is healing-oriented and focuses on the whole person, including their mind, body, and spirit. She completed her Fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2009 under Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona. She is currently a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a focus on Integrative and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Gater's focus is to help her patient’s live their best lives through health and wellness. She specializes in weight loss, health coaching and holistic health care.

Dr. Denise Josey, MD, MPH, MS, FASM is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and has been Assistant Professor of Preventive Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.  Dr. Josey earned her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine;  a Masters of Public Health degree with a concentration in Quantitative Methods (Biostatistics and Epidemiology) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ School of Public Health- now Rutgers University; and Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  She completed her residency in Preventive Medicine/Public Health Medicine at the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County and an Addiction Medicine fellowship at Saint Joseph Mercy hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She currently holds board certifications in both Addiction Medicine and Preventive Medicine/Public Health Medicine.     Dr. Josey has dedicated her career to social justice, mental health, wound care, chronic pain, and mitigating the opioid crisis in suburban and urban areas. Dr. Josey can currently assist with asynchronous consults, supervision and directorship, but no synchronous consults or direct patient visits at this time.

Dr Herbert was born in Washington DC and grew up in Los Angeles, California. She attended Yale University receiving a BA in Biology followed by an MD degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Martin Luther King Hospital in Compton, California. Her career highlights include being Assistant Director for 2 Emergency Departments, and Medical Director of an Emergency Department and EMS Medical Director its surrounding county. After 30 years of active practice in EM, she attained board certification in Lifestyle Medicine and transitioned to being medical director of a private telehealth wellness practice. Administratively, she spends her time as medical director of the US Postal Inspection Service and brings lifestyle performance coaching to the development of their health and wellness programming. She
