My training and clinical practice have equipped me with a broad skill set to manage complex, multi-system diseases and acute medical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a hospitalist, I have consistently delivered high-quality, evidence-based care to acutely ill patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal outcomes. In the primary care, geriatrics, and urgent care settings, I have demonstrated a commitment to patient-centered care, effectively managing chronic conditions, preventive screenings, and a wide range of acute presentations. As the Center Medical Director, I oversee the clinical operations and performance of a multidisciplinary team of five physicians, serving a diverse patient population of over 2,000 individuals.

Dr. Haris Manan is an Internal Medicine physician at the University of South Alabama and former Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He is dedicated to compassionate, patient centered care and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. Recognized with multiple honors including Best Teaching Resident, the Denzil Les Sockwell Memorial Humanitarian Award, and induction into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Dr. Manan is dedicated to clinical excellence, mentorship, and service. He has contributed to numerous research publications and national presentations, with interests in cardiology, complex internal medicine, and quality improvement. He also founded the Care Closet initiative to support hospitalized patients in need, reflecting his belief that healing extends beyond prescriptions and procedures. Dr. Manan welcomes collaboration with nurse practitioners who value teamwork, communication, and putting patients first.

Strong interest in telemedicine, preventive care, women's health, and medical aesthetics. Experience and training/certification in aesthetics including neurotoxin, fillers, chemical peels and medical weight loss.
