Dr. Patrick Herling D.O. brings over 6 years of experience in emergency medicine with 2 years running aesthetic/wellness clinic. From my broad scope of work in emergency medicine to specialized patient treatment plans in our wellness clinic, my goal is to provide treatment for the overall health of my patients.

Wendy has been practicing family medicine for over 25 years with an expertise in integrative psychiatry, functional medicine, women's health/ BHRT, weight loss, IV nutrition, primary and urgent care of all ages. I love to collaborate with APCs and have been for > 10 years. I enjoy mentoring/teaching and learning / brain storming with APCs especially about root causes and holistic, cutting edge, and evidence based approaches. I work 4 days a week at a virtual, functional medicine practice and invest 1 day for collaborations. I am free all day Fridays, late afternoons, and evenings, too. I would like to ensure that accessible and affordable health care is available to patients and believe in the mission of APCs to offer such care.

Dr Herbert was born in Washington DC and grew up in Los Angeles, California. She attended Yale University receiving a BA in Biology followed by an MD degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Martin Luther King Hospital in Compton, California. Her career highlights include being Assistant Director for 2 Emergency Departments, and Medical Director of an Emergency Department and EMS Medical Director its surrounding county. After 30 years of active practice in EM, she attained board certification in Lifestyle Medicine and transitioned to being medical director of a private telehealth wellness practice. Administratively, she spends her time as medical director of the US Postal Inspection Service and brings lifestyle performance coaching to the development of their health and wellness programming. She

I am a triple board certified physician with a passion for functional medicine, food as medicine, and weight loss. I have more than ten years experience as a collaborating physician and am hopeful to work with more teammates to generate the best possible outcomes for the largest number of patients possible.

I am a board-certified Family Medicine physician (ABFM) and Certified HIV Specialist with extensive experience in primary care, urgent care, HIV prevention and treatment, and telemedicine. I have more than 15 years of experience working in diverse clinical settings, including Duke University, Care Medical, MISTR, and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. In each of these roles, my responsibilities included supervising nurse practitioners and physician assistants. My background includes extensive mental health experience, functional medicine training, a Master’s in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania, and leadership experience as an interim medical director. I am licensed in multiple states and maintain an active DEA registration. I am committed to collaborative, team-based care and value strong communication, clinical autonomy, and mutual support among NP partners.

Have been practicing Urgent Care over the last 15 years. Own and operate my own Wellness Clinic in the Charlotte area. Transitioning out of Urgent Care and would love to collaborate with some providers. Open to different types of practices but think that Wellness Clinics (IV/TRT/BHRT/anti-aging etc) would be the best fit. Ideally in some proximity to the Charlotte area (NC/SC)

I have been doing collaborative work with NP's for about 6 years. My primary care experience is extensive and includes Occupational Medicine (residency trained and board certified), Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Medical Weight Loss, Integrative Medicine, Disability Medicine, and Chronic Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine (certified by the American Board of Wound Management). In additional to the medical licenses listed below, I am applying for licensure via IMLC in North Carolina and am considering applying in Indiana and Kentucky. I have an inactive status medical license in California.
