Dr. Haris Manan is an Internal Medicine physician at the University of South Alabama and former Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He is dedicated to compassionate, patient centered care and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
Recognized with multiple honors including Best Teaching Resident, the Denzil Les Sockwell Memorial Humanitarian Award, and induction into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Dr. Manan is dedicated to clinical excellence, mentorship, and service. He has contributed to numerous research publications and national presentations, with interests in cardiology, complex internal medicine, and quality improvement.
He also founded the Care Closet initiative to support hospitalized patients in need, reflecting his belief that healing extends beyond prescriptions and procedures. Dr. Manan welcomes collaboration with nurse practitioners who value teamwork, communication, and putting patients first.
