I am a psychiatrist licensed to practice in California, New York, and Georgia. I am certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and maintain a valid DEA certification. For the last several years I have been doing supervisory, managerial, and executive-level work for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. I have worked as a clinician with affective and psychotic disorders; substance use disorders; and personality disorders.

I am a Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine physician and have been working in primary and urgent care for more than 14 years and have been collaborating with APPs for more than half of these. I have worked in outpatient, academic, urgent care and telemedicine settings and enjoy the diversity it offers. My particular interests are in women’s health, preventive care and musculoskeletal issues. I am also a clinical preceptor and coach for students in the health professions which is rewarding and energizing. I truly find working in a team-based environment with people from different backgrounds and experiences is ideal as we all have something to contribute towards improving the health and wellbeing of our patients. I was previously the Medical Chief of a large, public psychiatry outpatient clinic serving the severely mentally ill population. I've supervised attending psychiatrists and psychiatric residents in training for 8+ years and have extensive experience in documentation support and practice monitoring. I currently work as the Medical Director of The Baywood Clinic practicing adult psychiatry in an outpatient, private setting.

Have spent a lot of time inpatient, outpatient, consults and ER, and comfortable with any of these. I enjoy using technology to the benefit of the patient and clinician, and would much rather spend time talking with patients rather than typing notes.
