Dr. Whitehead began his higher education at Chipola College where he was a founding member of the Chipola PreMed Society and the groundbreaking ACE lab. He would go on to graduate from the Florida State University with Honors, majoring in Classics and a minor in Chemistry. While at FSU Dr. Whitehead defended his thesis of the history of malaria in the ancient world as part of FSU’s Honors in the Major program. He was early accepted into the Florida State University College of Medicine where he received his medical degree. Dr. Whitehead was involved with the Family Medicine Scholars Program as well as the Rural Medicine Interest Group. After graduation from the College of Medicine, Dr. Whitehead completed his residency in Family Medicine with the TMH Family Medicine Residency Program where he served as Chief Resident. During this time he also become the only resident in the country to complete his senior year of residency while simultaneously completing an HIV Specialist fellowship program. In his role as medical director for a local HIV and primary care healthcare center, he cares for individuals living with HIV in the Florida Panhandle, South Alabama, and Mississippi Gulf Coast. He also serves as the principal investigator in ongoing clinical trials in the North Florida region. He is a clerkship faculty member for the Florida State University College of Medicine.

Hi I'm Michael. I'm an Osteopathic Physician board certified in Emergency Medicine. I grew up on the space coast of Florida. Went to undergrad and medical school in South Florida. I then moved up to West Virginia where I did my residency in emergency medicine. After that I had an brief stay living in Pittsburgh before finally settling down here in East Tennessee. I'm married with 2 kids. My sister who I'm close with lives up here and is a nurse practitioner practicing in aesthetics.

Wendy has been practicing family medicine for over 25 years with an expertise in integrative psychiatry, functional medicine, women's health/ BHRT, weight loss, IV nutrition, primary and urgent care of all ages. I love to collaborate with APCs and have been for > 10 years. I enjoy mentoring/teaching and learning / brain storming with APCs especially about root causes and holistic, cutting edge, and evidence based approaches. I work 4 days a week at a virtual, functional medicine practice and invest 1 day for collaborations. I am free all day Fridays, late afternoons, and evenings, too. I would like to ensure that accessible and affordable health care is available to patients and believe in the mission of APCs to offer such care.

Dr Herbert was born in Washington DC and grew up in Los Angeles, California. She attended Yale University receiving a BA in Biology followed by an MD degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Martin Luther King Hospital in Compton, California. Her career highlights include being Assistant Director for 2 Emergency Departments, and Medical Director of an Emergency Department and EMS Medical Director its surrounding county. After 30 years of active practice in EM, she attained board certification in Lifestyle Medicine and transitioned to being medical director of a private telehealth wellness practice. Administratively, she spends her time as medical director of the US Postal Inspection Service and brings lifestyle performance coaching to the development of their health and wellness programming. She

Helo everyone!. I am a Board certified ER physician with over 23 years of experience. I've held multiple roles in the department including Medical Director, Director of Education, Vice Chair, and Quality Champion. Currently I am licenced in New York, New Jersey, Kentucky, Florida and Iowa. I am starting a new chapter in my career and I have opened and growing Wellness Clinic in South Florida where I will be focusing on therapies that will support traditional Western Medicine. I have a specia interest in Stem cell therapy for chronic pain, inflammatory illness, hair regeneration, and aesthetics. Additionally, I am offering ketamine therapy for mental health and chronic pain management. Dr. Denise Josey, MD, MPH, MS, FASM is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and has been Assistant Professor of Preventive Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.  Dr. Josey earned her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine;  a Masters of Public Health degree with a concentration in Quantitative Methods (Biostatistics and Epidemiology) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ School of Public Health- now Rutgers University; and Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  She completed her residency in Preventive Medicine/Public Health Medicine at the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County and an Addiction Medicine fellowship at Saint Joseph Mercy hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She currently holds board certifications in both Addiction Medicine and Preventive Medicine/Public Health Medicine.     Dr. Josey has dedicated her career to social justice, mental health, wound care, chronic pain, and mitigating the opioid crisis in suburban and urban areas. Dr. Josey can currently assist with asynchronous consults, supervision and directorship, but no synchronous consults or direct patient visits at this time.

Dr. Haris Manan is an Internal Medicine physician at the University of South Alabama and former Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He is dedicated to compassionate, patient centered care and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. Recognized with multiple honors including Best Teaching Resident, the Denzil Les Sockwell Memorial Humanitarian Award, and induction into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Dr. Manan is dedicated to clinical excellence, mentorship, and service. He has contributed to numerous research publications and national presentations, with interests in cardiology, complex internal medicine, and quality improvement. He also founded the Care Closet initiative to support hospitalized patients in need, reflecting his belief that healing extends beyond prescriptions and procedures.
