Dr. Jackson is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with 10 years of clinical experience in high-acuity emergency department settings. With a strong background in overseeing and mentoring midlevel providers, she has played a key role in ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient care in fast-paced environments. In addition to emergency medicine, Dr. Jackson has expanded into telehealth, gaining experience in managing diverse patient populations, including obesity medicine. She is committed to supporting advanced practice providers through clinical oversight, professional development, and adherence to best practices in patient care.

Dr. Denise Josey, MD, MPH, MS, FASM is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and has been Assistant Professor of Preventive Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.  Dr. Josey earned her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine;  a Masters of Public Health degree with a concentration in Quantitative Methods (Biostatistics and Epidemiology) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ School of Public Health- now Rutgers University; and Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  She completed her residency in Preventive Medicine/Public Health Medicine at the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County and an Addiction Medicine fellowship at Saint Joseph Mercy hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She currently holds board certifications in both Addiction Medicine and Preventive Medicine/Public Health Medicine.     Dr. Josey has dedicated her career to social justice, mental health, wound care, chronic pain, and mitigating the opioid crisis in suburban and urban areas. Dr. Josey can currently assist with asynchronous consults, supervision and directorship, but no synchronous consults or direct patient visits at this time.

Dr Herbert was born in Washington DC and grew up in Los Angeles, California. She attended Yale University receiving a BA in Biology followed by an MD degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Martin Luther King Hospital in Compton, California. Her career highlights include being Assistant Director for 2 Emergency Departments, and Medical Director of an Emergency Department and EMS Medical Director its surrounding county. After 30 years of active practice in EM, she attained board certification in Lifestyle Medicine and transitioned to being medical director of a private telehealth wellness practice. Administratively, she spends her time as medical director of the US Postal Inspection Service and brings lifestyle performance coaching to the development of their health and wellness programming. I am a board-certified OB/GYN with over a decade of clinical experience and a background in men's health. In addition to my active medical practice, I serve as a medical director and collaborating physician for multiple clinics, where I oversee compliance, protocols, and patient safety. I am licensed in multiple states, which allows me to support practices remotely as a collaborating physician. My focus is on providing accessible, reliable oversight that helps practices grow while maintaining the highest standards of care.

I am a trained Family and Sports Medicine physician with a deep commitment to mental health diagnosis, treatment, and accessibility. Over the years, I have witnessed how emotional well-being profoundly shapes physical health, recovery, and patient outcomes. This has fueled my passion for expanding access to comprehensive, integrated mental health care — meeting patients where they are, without stigma or barriers. My background in family medicine and urgent care has provided me with a strong foundation in holistic, patient-centered medicine, where safety, communication are central to care. I am particularly focused on helping patients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and burnout, while incorporating preventive and lifestyle-based approaches to long-term mental wellness. In addition to my clinical practice, I have served as a collaborating physician and medical director for multiple medspas, where I developed expertise in aesthetic and regenerative procedures. I have hands-on experience with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, stem cell harvesting and injections for joint and aesthetic use, and oversight of a wide range of treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, IV therapy, red light therapy, microneedling, and dermabrasion. I also support clinics providing hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and medical weight loss, including GLP-1–based programs—areas that often intersect with mental and emotional health. My name is Dr. Bowman, and I am a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and Academic Hospitalist. He has experience in providing physician services and consulting across hospital, telemedicine, and government sectors.

I have been practicing psychiatry for over 35 years, in various roles. I have been a partner in private group practice, an executive in managed care, performed utilization review, worked in a prison, worked with various community mental health clinics in California, Iowa and Maryland (either with direct services or telehealth), and with ACT teams in Skid Row, Los Angeles and Brooklyn, NY. Most recently, I have been applying my experience and knowledge to collaborative care settings. This includes working with a company that does virtual collaborative care with primary care physicians, and with another where I provide psychiatric consultations and treatment on site in a primary care office that treats those with debilitating and serious medical illnesses. I look forward to continuing my work in supporting mid-level providers with developing their skills and practice, or simply being able to continue what they already do well.

I received my psychiatry training at University of Maryland and attended Johns Hopkins Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship program. I have special expertise in treating individuals who have medical illnesses and are in need of medication support as a component of their care. I work with individuals, couples, and families to address their relationship or career issues. My style is professional, empathic and approachable. Psychoeducation is at the core of my practice. I collaborate regularly with your therapist/PCP to discuss and plan your best, most effective treatment course. Not everyone needs medications. I make every attempt to streamline or reduce medications when possible, but help develop effective, safe regimens in cases when medications are truly necessary. It is my goal to optimize your overall health.
