Hello! I am a board-certified psychiatrist with over 6 years of clinical experience. I offer supervision and collaboration for psychiatric nurse practitioners and physician assistants. I completed both my medical degree and psychiatry residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, with training focused on high-acuity psychiatric care and a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine. I currently practice outpatient psychiatry via hybrid in-clinic/telemedicine, working primarily with adult populations. I have a focus on integrative psychiatric principles. I provide thoughtful, accessible, and supportive supervision tailored to each provider’s level of experience and clinical setting. Dr. Janette Leal graduated from a combined internal medicine and psychiatry residency program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She went on to specialize in geriatric Psychiatry at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. There, she worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry with a variety of diagnoses and cared for severely ill patients. She developed an interest in holistic psychiatry and psychedelic therapy and has enjoyed collaborating with PAs and NPs practicing psychiatry.

I'm passionate about collaborating with others and am known for my supportive, thoughtful, and reliable communication style—always aiming to build strong connections with patients and colleagues alike. My background includes extensive clinical experience in all areas of psychiatry and integrated family medicine, as well as leadership roles as a clinical director. Wendy has been practicing family medicine for over 25 years with an expertise in integrative psychiatry, functional medicine, women's health/ BHRT, weight loss, primary and urgent care of all ages. I love to collaborate with APCs and have been for > 10 years. I enjoy mentoring/teaching (if desired) and learning / brain storming with APCs especially about root causes and holistic, cutting edge, and evidence based approaches. I work 4 days a week at a virtual, functional medicine practice and invest 1 day for collaborations. I am free late afternoons and evenings, too. I would like to ensure that accessible and affordable health care is available to patients and believe in the mission of APCs to offer such care.

Dr. Jackson is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with 10 years of clinical experience in high-acuity emergency department settings. With a strong background in overseeing and mentoring midlevel providers, she has played a key role in ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient care in fast-paced environments. In addition to emergency medicine, Dr. Jackson has expanded into telehealth, gaining experience in managing diverse patient populations, including obesity medicine. She is committed to supporting advanced practice providers through clinical oversight, professional development, and adherence to best practices in patient care.

Dr. Denise Josey, MD, MPH, MS, FASM is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and has been Assistant Professor of Preventive Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.  Dr. Josey earned her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine;  a Masters of Public Health degree with a concentration in Quantitative Methods (Biostatistics and Epidemiology) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ School of Public Health- now Rutgers University; and Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  She completed her residency in Preventive Medicine/Public Health Medicine at the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County and an Addiction Medicine fellowship at Saint Joseph Mercy hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She currently holds board certifications in both Addiction Medicine and Preventive Medicine/Public Health Medicine.     Dr. Josey has dedicated her career to social justice, mental health, wound care, chronic pain, and mitigating the opioid crisis in suburban and urban areas. Dr. Josey can currently assist with asynchronous consults, supervision and directorship, but no synchronous consults or direct patient visits at this time.

I am a board-certified OB/GYN with over a decade of clinical experience and a background in men's health. In addition to my active medical practice, I serve as a medical director and collaborating physician for multiple clinics, where I oversee compliance, protocols, and patient safety. I am licensed in multiple states, which allows me to support practices remotely as a collaborating physician. My focus is on providing accessible, reliable oversight that helps practices grow while maintaining the highest standards of care.
